HEM1601CR Harsh Environment IO Module

HEM1601CR is an intelligent, distributed I/O module specially designed for harsh environments, introduced by Changsha Pulo Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. It is engineered to deliver efficient and reliable solutions for optimizing the electrical control systems of construction machinery and automation equipment. This module integrates multiple input and output functions, making it well-suited for a variety of complex and challenging industrial settings.

The HEM1601CR provides a total of 16 input/output channels (up to 10 inputs and up to 14 outputs), with each channel configurable for various functions, such as 0-5V/0-32V voltage input, 0-20mA current input, high/low active digital input/output, PWM (pulse-width modulation) output, and H-bridge output—greatly enhancing the system's flexibility and adaptability.

Built-in 32-bit Cortex M4 processor with a main frequency of up to 120MHz, ensuring the module's efficient data-processing capability. Supports one CAN 2.0B communication interface, enabling communication distances of up to 1,500 meters—perfect for long-distance data transmission needs.

3. Wide Voltage Input and Protection Rating:

Wide input voltage range of 8–32 VDC, compatible with power supplies of various voltage levels. The protection rating reaches IP67, effectively preventing dust and water ingress, ensuring stable operation of the module even in harsh environments.

4. Wireless Communication Support:

The module supports wireless communication functionality, operating in the frequency range of 425 to 450.5 MHz. It features high receiving sensitivity (-108 dBm) and a transmission power of 14 dBm, making it ideal for remote monitoring and data transmission.

5. High Reliability and Environmental Adaptability:

After rigorous environmental testing—including low-temperature, high-temperature, shock, and vibration tests—ensure the module operates reliably under a wide range of extreme conditions. It also boasts excellent electromagnetic compatibility, having successfully passed multiple immunity tests such as electrostatic discharge, electrical fast transient/burst, and surge tests.

6. Rich status indication and diagnostic features:

Equipped with four LED status lights—power indicator, running indicator, error indicator, and communication indicator—this allows users to quickly identify the module's operational status and fault information.
